Kent is one of England's largest counties and east Kent has so much to offer the visitor and holiday maker. The many micro-climates make for good vineyards and wine lovers may wish to visit producers such as Tenterden and Biddenden. Canterbury, with its cathedral, is only 17 miles from Broadstairs. Five miles north is Whitstable, with its world famous Oyster beds.
The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway "mainline in miniature" runs from the Cinque port town of Hythe, terminating in Dungeness, a national nature reserve and one of the largest shingle landscapes in the world. Dover and Folkstone are within easy driving distance of Broadstairs making us an attractive destination for visitors from France, Belgium and Netherlands.
