The Bay Tree Broadstairs is currently closed for a major refurbishment and will re-open in October 2017.
We are still reachable by phone 01843 862502 & email firstname.lastname@example.org for enquiries and future bookings.
Our new traditional flint wall is now beginning to take shape outside The Bay Tree, although Ben is not over-exerting himself to help! We’ve designed the brick and flint construct using various local Kentish models. The flint actually came from just over the East Sussex border.
At the rear of The Bay Tree work is progressing clearing our car-park before it is re-surfaced.
We have installed a commercial washing machine (on the right) and a commercial gas-powered (gas is cheaper for us than electricity) dryer. We send out our sheets to a local laundry but we wash our fluffy white guest towels in-house.
Robert, Alistair and Ben have now been able to move back into The Bay Tree: we can’t yet use our top floor bedroom, below, but we are using our owners lounge as a temporary bedroom.
Some of our rooms, such as Room 4, Rowan, are nearly complete and ready for their carpets. Most of our ensuite doors have now been hung.
The view from our balcony over Stone Bay is amazing!
Stone Bay, directly across from The Bay Tree.
We have been re-covering pre-loved chairs to use in our sea-view restaurant.
We couldn’t resist getting this Royal Worcester Bay coffee and tea pots at a local auction!
