Kent Walking Week run’s from the 7th to the 14th May 2016 and will be a week long celebration of walking for all abilities, getting walking newbies out there to how them how fun walking can be! Make a #try20 pledge on Facebook or Twitter and get out there every day for a 20 minute walk! We guarantee it will make you feel AMAZING!
- Feel the Burn! Forget the traffic congestion and beat the bus stop queues by burning only shoe rubber. Walking for just 20 minutes a day is enough to get your heart pumping – so walk a little faster and feel the satisfaction of passing all those stressed out commuters stuck in traffic jams!
- Feel fitter! Walking 10,000 step a day sounds like an awful lot – but it soon adds up especially when you add #try20 into the mix – you will feel so much better for it too! Why not invest in a simple pedometer to track how many steps you are taking? It’s very addictive!
- Feel Brighter! Lacking in energy by 3pm? Get out into the fresh air over your lunch break and you can avoid that 3pm slump! Walking increases energy levels and increases your mood – give #try20 a go and you’ll see what we mean!
