Snow in Broadstairs

Stone Bay, directly opposite The Bay Tree, covered in snow!

Ben has had his first experience of snow!

The Eastern Esplanade looked stunning!

Viking Bay also looked lovely

Our bay tree looks amazing with the snow!

The Bay Tree looks great in the snow!

The chairs next to an open fire in our library bar are particularly inviting at the moment!

Our sea-view lounge also has an open fire

You can always pamper yourself with our exclusive Bay Tree Green Tea and Lemongrass Toiletries which are now on sale, including luxury soy candles (made here in Kent), room sprays, reed diffusers, moisturisers, hair and body wash as well as luxury liquid soap

As we’ve had some cancellations (partly from a choir group who were staying and singing at Holy Trinity until their concert was cancelled, despite predicted weather improvements on Saturday) we have good availability for Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd March

Valentines Night at The Bay Tree

We are very pleased that Chef Keith Dunstane is now settling well into The Bay Tree and is busy creating all sorts of wonderful dishes for our guests

On our first big day, for Sunday Lunch on 11 February, we welcomed over 20 guests:
Our latest feedback was positive: ‘ ..enjoyed my roast chicken and the crumble to follow was yummy….will be back’ and ‘Went today for Sunday lunch , it was lovely couldn’t fault it looking forward to going back soon’

We think that our sea-view restaurant with it’s spectacular views across stunning Stone Bay, makes for the perfect venue for a romantic meal, especially with guests being welcomed into our sea-view lounge and our library bar before-hand and relaxing with their post-meal drinks afterwards

The Bay Tree Restaurant and New Chef

Our new Chef, Keith Dunstane, who has worked at both the Sands Hotel and Crescent Victoria Hotel in Margate will be cooking for us from Sunday 11 February

To celebrate, this Sunday 11 February we are reducing our Sunday Lunch menu, to £16 for 2 course (usually £20) and £20 for 3 courses (usually £24)

We will be serving lunch from 1230pm until late

Why not join us for a drink in our library bar before or relax in our sea-view lounge before enjoying our Sunday roasts.
We think this is a perfect way to spend a Sunday in Broadstairs!

If you can’t make it to us on Sunday…

Perhaps we can tempt you with our delicious pancakes on Shrove Tuesday 13 February
with a romantic meal on Valentines Day
