The Bay Tree Broadstairs reopens at 6pm on 23rd December 2017 following a major refurbishment.
Our bar will be open for drinks and mince pies (including for non-resident guests) and we have 6 of our 10 rooms now ready for guests to stay. Our restaurant will be open from Boxing Day.
Please call 01843 862502 for more information.
Please note we are unable to tarmac our drive until early in the new year but we have been able to create a temporary path to the hotel.
We would like to thank all our guests for their patience whilst we have been closed and would like to wish all of our guests a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Our library bar is ready to welcome guests for a festive drink.
Our sea-view lounge is looking amazing, even if we haven’t yet got our drapes up yet.
We are particularly fond of our new chandelier!
Our sea-view restaurant, complete with our original wood floor is ready to welcome guests.
Our entrance hall, again with our original flooring, leads directly into our sea-view lounge and sea-view restaurant.
We are very pleased with our hall chandelier.
We currently have 6 of our 10 guest rooms ready for guests.
Room 4, Rowan, is lovely and bright and features a (non-working) fireplace.
The above picture is a good example of one of our ensuite wet-rooms, which all use Laufen bathroom furniture.R
Room 5, English Oak, is our balcony sea-view room and also features a luxury bathroom.
Room 6, Chestnut, is a sea-view room with a zip and link bed so it can be configured as a twin or super-king room.
Room 7, Walnut, also has a zip and link bed allowing it to be both a twin or super-king room. The smaller window has been made into an oriel window to allow for sea-views.
This room also has an ensuite with a bath, cleverly made by restoring a hidden room at the back of the original bathroom and by digging into the chimney and using this space for a shower (not shown in this picture).
Room 8, Alder, on our top floor features both Juliet balcony windows to allow for sea views and also features our original (non-working) fireplace.
Room 9, Yew, also has Juliet balcony windows and also a triple-aspect sea-view ‘turret’.
Rooms 5, 6,7,8 and 9 are now ready to welcome guests. Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 10 will be ready to welcome guests early in the new year.
Room 10, Maple, with spectacular views over Stone Bay to the cliffs plus a triple-aspect sea-view turret, will be available in the new year. We are just waiting for our drapes to return after being custom-made for our windows.
